Acceptable Use Policy

1. Purpose

This policy describes what is prohibited on the zayase Platform. It applies to every user and to all content and activity on the Platform, and forms part of our Terms of Service.

2. Prohibited Conduct

• •Misrepresenting your identity, skills, or experience, or impersonating any person or entity.
• •Submitting false proposals, fake reviews, or reviews not based on a genuine engagement.
• •Billing for hours not actually worked or inflating project budgets dishonestly.
• •Attempting to move engagements or payments off-Platform to evade fees.
• •Using the Platform to harass, defame, stalk, intimidate, or discriminate against anyone.
• •Uploading malicious code, scraping the Platform, or attempting to gain unauthorized access to accounts, data, or systems.
• •Using the Platform for any unlawful purpose, including money laundering, sanctions evasion, or the sale of prohibited goods or services.
• •Infringing the intellectual property, privacy, or other rights of any third party.

3. Prohibited Content

• •Content that is unlawful, defamatory, obscene, hateful, or that incites violence.
• •Content that exploits or endangers minors.
• •Malware, phishing pages, or deceptive links.
• •Another person's personal data without their consent.

4. Enforcement and Reporting

We investigate reports of violations and may remove content, withhold payments, or suspend or terminate accounts that breach this policy — with or without prior notice where the violation is serious or repeated.

Report violations through the in-app report action or by emailing abuse@zayase.app. We aim to acknowledge reports within two (2) business days.

5. Appeals

If your content is removed or your account is restricted and you believe this was a mistake, you may appeal by emailing appeals@zayase.app with details. We review every appeal and respond with the outcome.

6. User Responsibility and Liability

You are solely responsible for your conduct on the Platform and for all content you submit, work you perform, and interactions you have with other users. zayase is not responsible for the actions of any user and disclaims all liability for user conduct.

• •You are responsible for verifying the accuracy of any information you rely on from other users, including profiles, proposals, and reviews.
• •You are responsible for any agreements you enter into with other users and for the outcome of those engagements.
• •You are responsible for ensuring your work product does not infringe the rights of any third party.
• •You are responsible for your own tax compliance and worker classification, as described in our Terms of Service.
• •zayase may remove content or restrict accounts at its discretion but is not obligated to monitor all user activity and does not assume liability for failing to do so.
• •Identity Verification, Not Liability: zayase provides identity verification services, including W-9 identity verification and, where applicable, third-party background checks. These are screening tools, not guarantees. Even where a user has passed a background check or holds a verification badge, zayase does not assume legal liability for any financial loss, data breach, unauthorized access to systems or accounts, or other harm arising from your engagement with that user. You are responsible for your own due diligence, access controls, and safeguards.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy to reflect new risks or legal requirements. Continued use of the Platform after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
